Not since Denver…

Not since the Broncos won have I cheered for (what ended up to be) the winning team in the Superbowl. It’s been a while. And yeah, I know that the Raiders got their butts handed to them, but there were a couple bad ref calls towards the end, there. What about that denied touchdown? And they couldn’t even challenge it! And how about the modesty of the MVP? His interview went something like this, “Yeah I told my friends that I would have something to contribute to this game, and I would do a bunch of stuff yada yada.” Sheesh, did he call the score, too?

My favourite bit of football player grammar? “Yeah, well our team went out to do what they do, and they all represent what they are.” Uh, yeah. Are you sure about that?

I joke, but I do enjoy football. It’s like a big game of chess, but with real people. It’s a neat game. Mind you, they could take out one of the downs.. make the field a little bigger.. move the goal posts up to the front of the end zone.. add a guy on offense.. allow drop-kicking and other neat stuff.. and THEN you have a game!! 🙂 I would love to see the CFL game played with NFL calibre players on NFL calibre fields and with some decent television coverage. Now THAT would be something to see!

Today I hit the gym for half an hour before the game. It wasn’t very busy (odd, that) but I had to get home in time! Oh, AND I made something new for dinner! I tried beef pot pie, and it turned out just great! It was a hit and I’m invited to make it again sometime! That doesn’t happen often, you know. 🙂

I got some email done, and oh yeah, my chat this morning went great! I shaved it ALL off down there… it was a unanimous decision from the room. 🙂 And there were a few guys and Lesley in the chat that I hadn’t seen in chat for a long while, so that was cool to see them again. I have another chat tomorrow morning, so I hope to see them again soon! 🙂

Peter got a parking ticket yesterday. Arg. 40$ to the City of Vancouver. Gotta love it, eh? I asked and he said, “Well, there were three cop cars parked outside the restaurant, and the cops were just eating, so we figured we could park there, too.” *shaking head*

I’m getting a few more negative reviews on my new free site’s look. Apparently people are miffed that a) the top menu bar takes up too much screen real estate and b) the pictures no longer fit properly in one screen scroll. Maybe I’ll try making the menu bar a bit shorter and see if that helps. I know I can’t please everyone all the time, but I can try, dammit! 🙂

Ok, time to do some more emails and then hit the sack! Toodeloo!

I think the new look is really good, so don’t let the negative feedback discourage you. A couple little tweaks and it should be perfect. (I wonder if having two layers of options on the menu would work?)

Off to fold my Raiders sweatshirt and put it away for another year.

    • the menu options in two rows looks good to me… but the logo just below is clipped at the bottom, at least on my browser.

      – intended just to be helpful debugging info, not a nag! 🙂

      • and it looks perfect now!

(and the new series with Kristy is WOW amazing – you’re beautiful!)

        • Go Raiders!

Hey thanks 🙂 I’m glad it’s looking better! And yeah, Kristy is a hottie AND Canadian! What more do you need to know? 🙂

Well, I missed the chat today, I’m sorry to say. But, personally speaking, I love seeing you completely shaved, Elli-chan. A bare lady is a sensitive lady and much more fun to tease and tantalize in bed. A gentle tender kiss on bare flesh can send shivers. I do hope that your weekend went well. I hope to find the time to join the chat this week to see the new shaving job. Hugs.

Open your heart and bare your soul,
I’ll be there to keep your secrets in the shadows of the night.
